Need leads on any rehabilitation, re-education, treatment, prevention, self-help programs and facilities run by gays for alcoholic gays, or straights, but geared to dealing specifically with the problem of alcoholism in gays. This preliminIary information is needed for a pilot research study dealing with stereotypes as a hinderance to providing ettective alcoholism treatment for gays, and the growth of gay facilities as a way a minority meets the needs of its members. This study continues and expands the research leading to the presentation of "The Alcoholic Gay-Stigma and Sobriety" which was presented at the National Alcoholism Forum at Denver in 1974. That paper alerted the straight therapeutic community on how judgments based on sexuality were denying medical and rehabilitation services to gays.

ON RECORD

(Continued from Page B14)

clipped, tuneless syllables...which, mind you, doesn't mean that Roxy isn't good at what they do. Particularly fine are "Both Ends Burning," "Love Is the Drug," and "Just Another High," the latter two of which are currently receiving heavy FM airplay.

MM

Club Date by Yusef Lateef, recorded live at the old Pep's

Lounge in Philly in 1964, has been re-released on ABC Impulse. Lateef 'is featured on tenor sax, flute, and oboe, backed up by a solid group on trumpet, piano, bass and drums. All the pieces are in a relaxed jazz idiom, with my favorite cut being "Nu-Bouk," Lateef's own composition in which he plays flute (the instrument on which he is best known). "Nu-Bouk" is a real candlelight-and-wine, table-for-two kind of tune.
